High-Risk Pregnancies

DANBURY — Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meeting “Baby, Oh Baby! Preparing for Normal or High-Risk Pregnancy” will be conducted on Tuesday, November 27, from 7 to 8:30 pm at Danbury Hospital’s auditorium.

Featured speakers from Danbury Hospital’s Family Birth Center and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will be Howard Blanchette, MD, attending physician and chairman, Danbury Hospital Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, physician member, Danbury Office of Physician Services; Fereshteh Boozarjomehri, MD, provisional physician and assistant director, Perinatology, physician member, Danbury Office of Physician Services; Gerard Foye, MD, attending physician and medical director, Perinatology, chief, Feto-Maternal Medicine, practicing physician, Candlewood Obstetric-Gynecologic Associates, 107 Newtown Road, Danbury; and Coral Presti, RNC, BSN, manager, Women’s and Children’s Service Line.

They will prepare couples for the normal and complicated pregnancy and birth. Leticia Agosto, RN, BS, MS, manager, Danbury Hospital Women’s & Children’s Services, will moderate the evening program.

Ample time will be provided for audience questions. Medical Town Meetings are co-sponsored by Danbury Hospital and the Danbury Office of Physician Services, P.C., and are free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Park free in the blue visitor’s parking lot, Hospital Avenue entrance.
