Free Blood Pressure Screening

The Ashlar of Newtown Nursing Department will sponsor a free blood pressure screening on Wednesday, November 28, from 10 am to noon, at Cyrenius H. Booth Library on Main Street.

The screening will be conducted by a licensed nurse who will have free information about high blood pressure.

Sharon Linet, RN, the acting director of nursing services at Ashlar, reminds residents that because persons can have high blood pressure and still feel fine, it is important to have blood pressure checked regularly.
