Two courses – English 296 and History 100, are being offered during the Intersession, which begins on Tuesday, January 2, 2001.

English 296 is a writing practicum taught by poet and playwright Davyne Verstandig. The writing course will concentrate on autobiographical writing. In the course, students will read at least one autobiography and begin writing their own story. The course meets January 2 through 5, 2001, from 9 am to noon.

History 100 is a course about the roots of the Western Experience and will be taught by Dr John O’Brien. It is an analysis of the traditions and changes which have shaped Western political institutions, economic systems, social structures, and culture in ancient and medieval times. The course is offered on a daily basis from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
