Meals On Wheels Needs Drivers

To The Editor:

According to the last week’s Bee, “In Newtown people routinely transcend themselves by connecting with others.” From Newtown High School kids to retired seniors, people do care.

Coincidentally, Newtown  Meals On Wheels finds itself short about three drivers. This means some drivers are driving double shifts. If anyone can spare a lunch hour once a month or volunteer where needed, please call Colleen Honan, driver-coordinator, at 426-0714.
