Candidates Say ‘Thanks’

To The Editor:

We would be remise in not taking the time to thank all those who helped us in our first election for Legislative Council. There were many that helped in making phone calls and spent countless hours promoting us. First we’d like to thank our families for their support and belief in us. Mike Kelley, Paula Newberry, Kathy Cunningham, Nina Allred, Anne Siladi, Mary Ellen Ansboro, Pat Ryan, Mary Pat Frobey, Janis Solheim, LeeAnn Haubert, Cheryl Clark, Joan Salbu, Kim Proctor (and anyone we may have missed) and the Rosenthal-Bojnowski Team ’99.

While we did not win, we felt fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a  part of the Democratic ticket. We gained a lot of knowledge and were able to speak to many townspeople regarding issues. We congratulate the candidates who won. We support them wholeheartedly, and wish them success.
