There seems to be plenty of stuff of interest at Horseland.com, an interactive web site that caters not only to the horse owners but all horse lovers from kids to adults. Games, chats, health tips, and shopping – there is enough to keep you clicking for a while.

In Horse Books, which is linked to Amazon.com, you can find such volumes as Advanced Cross Country Riding by Jane Holderness-Roddam or The Art of the Horse by John Fairley. In Kid’s Horse Books, also linked to Amazon.com, you can find a fun book like Pride’s Last Race by Joanna Campbell. All the books get those deep discounts familiar to Amazon.com, the world’s largest on-line bookstore.

Not interested in books? Then check out the chat room, where you can talk, joke, or seek advice from other horse owners around the country. Or play the Horseland Game, which allows participants to basically run a stable, earning money, feeding and caring for the horses, and scoring points based on performance.

Not in the mood for games? Equine Rescue allows you to try and help a horse in need.

And there is more – like Something to Remember, which links to web sites like the one in memory of the horse Dakota Beaux, who dies on August 15; or Tips (“instead of a curry comb, try a human hair brush for your horse’s mane and tail” – from Jenna); Just for Fun; Horse Articles; and an interactive section that solicits your pictures, poems, stories and horse articles.

Horseland.com looks like a fun and interesting site for horse lovers out there and it’s only a couple of clicks away.
