Sippin Energy Captures Prestigious BBB Award

WALLINGFORD — A local business is a recipient of the 2011 Connecticut Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. Sippin Energy Products of Monroe received the prestigious award in the Business to Consumer category.

The awards were presented at Connecticut BBB’s Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony November 10.

Connecticut Better Business Bureau President Paulette Scarpetti noted winning businesses embody the highest ethical standards, and set an example of best business practices.

“The Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics recognizes businesses that go far beyond standard marketplace practices, and serves as a reminder to consumers that there are companies that strive to create an environment in which businesses and consumers can trust each other.”

The Connecticut BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics and the Awards for Marketplace Excellence are open to both BBB Accredited and nonaccredited businesses. Nominations are accepted from businesses and consumers.
