Info Breakfast

Newtown Health & Human Services Committee is sponsoring an informational breakfast on December 6 at the Social Services Department in Town Hall South from 7:30 to 8:30 am. Member agencies and town departments will be on hand to answer questions about their programs and services.

Members include the Family Counseling Center, representatives of school social workers, the Newtown Health District, the Newtown Police Department, Danbury Hospital, Newtown Youth Services, Meals on Wheels, Danbury GOALS (an agency that serves Newtown), FAITH Food Pantry, and the VNA of Newtown.

The Health & Human Services Committee meets on a regular basis during the year to discuss current issues and identify any gaps in service in the community.

Anyone who would like to attend the breakfast and learn about any of these programs should RSVP by November 29 at 270-4335.
