Wendy Williams Woodward
Wendy Williams Woodward, 56, of Newtown died November 10.
Her loving mom, Elaine Williams of Newtown; sisters, Michelle Thompson of Southbury, Anne Williams of Newtown, and Elaine Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and her longtime best friend, Jean Johnson of Newtown, survive her. She is also survived by her loving Aunt Arlene and Uncle Tommy ofÃÂ Stratford;ÃÂ Uncle Abe and Mary Williams of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her beloved husband, David "Woody" Woodward, and her beloved dad, Ellwood Williams, predeceased her.
Ms Woodward was a devoted advocate for animals and was a member of the ASPCA. She spent many years working as a nursing assistant at Ashlar of Newtown.
She will be remembered for her laughter and funny personality. Her loved ones say, "She will forever be in our hearts."
A Service of the Resurrection will be conducted at 7 pm on Wednesday, November 16, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, with the Reverend Leo McIlrath officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 16, between 5 to 7 pm.
