To the Editor:

I would like to extend my sincerest "thank you" to those wonderful young adults and the members of the staff that volunteered to honor the veterans with a breakfast on Veterans Day. The fact that they were gracious enough to listen to our diatribe, that's old guys diatribe, and to take time and be our hostesses on a school holiday says a lot for their caring.

The only aspect of the morning that I found so uncomfortable was the realization of how intelligent these young people are. It is intimidating realizing that I have never had that amount of intelligence when I was anywhere near their age... maybe even today?

Anyway, thank you again.
