State Rep Hovey Named To

Student Loan Board

State Rep DebraLee Hovey (R-112th) has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Student Loan Foundation by House Minority Lead Robert M. Ward.

“With her background in education and her impressive record of service to the people of Monroe and Newtown, I thought Rep Hovey would be an ideal choice for this panel,” Rep Ward said.

“I’d like to thank Bob Ward for giving me the opportunity to serve on this board,” Rep Hovey said. “The Connecticut Student Loan Foundation plays an important role in helping our young people earn their college decrees and become successful adults. I look forward to the challenges serving on this board will bring.”
