St Margaret’s-McTernan Holiday Bazaar

WATERBURY — The Parents’ Association of St. Margaret’s-McTernan School, a nonprofit, not religious-affiliated college preparatory school for students prekindergarten through grade 12, is holding its annual Holiday Bazaar and Country Kitchen Craft Sale Tuesday, November 25, from 8 am to 3:30 pm.

The event will take place on the school’s campus Arts Center, 565 Chase Parkway.

“We have scheduled this popular event to take place on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving because there will be so many things to buy that are appropriate for the holidays,” said parents’ association member Liza Montgomery. In addition to a wide range of homemade and professional crafts and freshly baked pies and cakes, the sale will feature theme gift baskets, including spa and sports baskets.

Patrons can aim to win a variety of prizes, including electronic games, scooters, home cleaning, and restaurant gift certificates, through a special 50-cents-per-ticket raffle.

“We also offer a wonderful luncheon consisting of homemade soups, sandwiches, popcorn, and desserts of a very wide and appetizing range,” said Ms Montgomery. “People come for the fun of it, to support a worthy cause, and to solve some of their holiday gift giving with very original ideas and solutions.”
