Newbie Marathoner

Sean O’Connell of Newtown recently competed in – and finished – his first marathon. O’Connell ran the seventh annual Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival on September 28 at Schroon Lake, New York, and finished 183rd overall (53rd in the men’s 40-49 age group) with a time of 5:07.06. Duane Crammond of North Hudson, New York, was the overall champion, coming in first at at 2:45.07.
