BETHEL — The Bethel Public Library will present classic radio broadcasts — including “The Shadow,” “The Lone Ranger” and “The Adventures of Superman” — on Tuesday, November 18, from 7 to 9 pm, in the alcove of the temporary library at 137 Greenwood Avenue.

The event is part of the library’s new series “Old Time Radio Nights,” featuring CD and cassette versions of favorite radio programs from the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s. The series is a fundraiser for the library, and is sponsored by the library’s Board of Directors Capital Campaign Committee.

“Old Time Radio Nights” is free and open to all, but a donation of $5 per person is suggested. Refreshments will be available for purchase. For more information contact the library at 794-8756 extension 4.
