The Newtown Bridle Lands Association and the Second Company Governorâs Horse Guard will hold their annual Turkey Trot ride on Saturday, November 18, to benefit the FAITH Food Pantry of Sandy Hook.
To participate, bring a bag of non-perishable food items or household consumables to donate to the food pantry. Arrive early enough at the grounds on the campus of Fairfield Hills to be ready to ride at 10 am sharp.
There will be a slow group, a medium group, and a fast group. The event will be held rain or shine, but maybe not in sleet and snow, so call Toby Tamblyn at 270-6813 if that type of weather arises.
