Richard Flynn

Richard Flynn, 37, of Mohegan Lake, N.Y., died on November 13 at his residence.

He was the brother of Kathleen Raftery of Newtown.

Richard worked many years as a carpenter. He was born May 15, 1963, in Peekskill, N.Y., to Harold E. and Frances J. (Siclari) Flynn. He graduated from Walter Panas High School. He was an avid dart player and a member of a local dart team. He loved scuba diving, playing the guitar, and fishing.

Richard is survived by his father, Harold E. Flynn of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; a son, Richard Flynn, and a daughter, Rachael Flynn, both of Mohegan Lake; four brothers, Harold J. Flynn of Glen Burnie, Md., Thomas Flynn of Reno, Nev., and Robert and Gary Flynn, both of Wappingers Fall, N.Y., and his former wife, Luci Steffensen, of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. He was predeceased by his mother, Frances J. Flynn.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held November 16 at St Columbanus Church, 313 North James Street, Peekskill. The E.O. Curry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
