And 40 Thieves At Barnum Breakfast

BRIDGEPORT — The exciting adventures of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves will be told by Robert Rogers Puppet Company on Saturday, November 25, at The Barnum Museum.

The production relates how 40 thieves ride across the desert to an enchanted cave in which they hide stolen treasure. Ali Baba, a poor woodcutter, discovers their secret and stumbles into a world of treachery, greed and revenge.

The 10:30 am performance is part of Bridgeport Hospital’s monthly “Breakfast at The Barnum” family entertainment series, co-sponsored by The Connecticut Post and Take Time Café. Also included will be a child-oriented presentation by staff of Bridgeport Hospital’s P.T. Barnum Pediatric Center.

Doors will open at 10 am for a continental breakfast, included with admission of $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children. The museum is at 820 Main Street. Call 203/331-1104 extension 100 for information.
