Grace Ann Smey

Grace Ann Smey, 87, of Newtown, died November 11 in her home.

Mrs Smey was born in Bridgeport, and had been an area resident for all of her life. She was a member of the KSKJ, the Holy Cross Ladies Guild and Choir. She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Smey.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Ann Smey of Marlborough; a granddaughter, Lynn Smey of Orlando, Fla.; a grandson, John K. Smey of Colchester; a sister, Margaret Mitchals of Bridgeport; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held on November 14 in the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center, and at Holy Cross Church, Fairfield.

 Interment was in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
