Newtown High School’s football team defeated host Bunnell of Stratford 28-11 on November 6. Jack Street threw two touchdown passes to C.J. Cuomo. The other two touchdowns were to Connor Ivey. Connor and Colin Breslin had nice receptions in Newtown’s triumph as the Nighthawks completed their 7-on-7 season unbeaten at 6-0.

Eric Gray had an interception. C.J. Demers, Nick Sabillon, and Mike Haddick did a great job on the defensive side of the ball, Coach Bobby Pattison said.
