According to its Facebook page, the Edmond Town Hall Theatre will be screening Captain America: The Winter Soldier in place of the originally planned Guardians of The Galaxy.

A problem with the theater’s projector has apparently led to the need to screen a Blu-Ray DVD edition of the April 2014 release in which Steve Rogers/Captain America (played by Chris Evans) struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier. The film is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 136 minutes. It also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Colbie Smulders and Emily VanCamp.

It was featured at Edmond Town Hall in July.

The screening will begin at the regular time of 7 pm. Tickets are $2.

The Town Hall Board of Managers hope to have Dolphin Tale 2 open on schedule Friday, November 14.

“We … hope to have our projector up and running for tomorrow night,” the Facebook post continued.

Due to a problem with the projector at Edmond Town Hall Theatre, there will be a Blu-Ray DVD screening of Captain America: The Winter Soldier in place of the previously planned film, Guardians of The Galaxy.
