NHS Girls’ Cross Country Team Ninth In State Open

 Newtown High School girls’ cross country team placed ninth among all high school teams in the State Open Championship at Wickham Park in Manchester on November 6.

Newtown scored 270 points to place ninth for the second year in a row.

There were 209 finishers from 24 teams from the various classes in the state which scored points in the meet. Newtown’s results (overall placement, name and time) are as follows:
