Open House For Businesses

Newtown Youth Academy, a community-centered health and fitness facility, will be hosting an open house for the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown and the greater Newtown business community Tuesday, November 17, from noon to 1:30 pm, at 4 Primrose Street, in the Fairfield Hills campus.

Along with a luncheon reception, attendees will meet the Newtown Youth Academy staff and tour the state-of-the-art fitness center and field house. A brief presentation on membership benefits and special programs available for businesses will also be included.

Each attending member will be invited to join the academy for a healthy lunch of sandwiches, salads, juice and dessert. In addition, guests are invited to use the facility after lunch.

Newtown Youth Academy is an 86,000-square-foot, multiuse indoor sports complex. Opened to the public in November 2008, the NYA building comprises two wings: a field house with 1/9-mile track, and an indoor turf, both of which can be used year-round, as well as an 8,000-square-foot, fully equipped gitness center on the second floor.
