Babe Ruth Stars Shine On Baseball Diamond

The 9-year-old Newtown Babe Ruth All-Stars played against each other at sandy Hook Baseball Field on a recent sunny afternoon.

Colby Olson’s Bomber squad defeated Greg Brissette’s Hammer squad 9-5.

Owen McInerney hit a three-run home run and was the winning pitcher, and Henry Primavera went 4-for-4, earning the Bombers’ MVP award.

Adam Wolff had a hit and two runs batted in, earning the Hammer’s MVP honors.

Harry Eppers, Eric Hrabczak, Robby Laporta, and Dylan Champagne starred defensivel in the effort by the Hammer squad.
