Galaske

Lillian G. Galaske, 65, wife of Clarence B. Galaske of Brushy Hill Road, Newtown, died November 12 in Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington.

She was born in Bridgeport on February 12, 1936, daughter of the late John and Mary (Kaperal) Babyak. She graduated from Harding High School.

She was a resident of Newtown for 15 years.

She is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, Christopher Galaske of Los Angeles, Calif., and Phillip Galaske and his wife Marylynn of Westport; one daughter, Susan Mitola and her husband Robert of Monroe; two brothers, Michael Babyak of Milford and John Babyak of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, Lisette and Phillip Galaske, and Robert, Christopher, Daniel, and Matthew Mitola.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, at 10:30 am at Christ Episcopal Church, Madison Avenue, Trumbull, with the Rev Judy Greene officiating. Cremation will follow.

The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, is in charge of arrangements.
