Club Collects Used Eyeglasses

DANBURY — The Woman’s Club of Danbury/New Fairfield is collecting used eyeglasses and sending them through the Lions Club of Danbury to be distributed to Third World countries for those in desperate need of glasses.

There is a new drop-off location for those wishing to contribute. Eyeglasses can be dropped off at Stony Hill Dental Care, 76 Stony Hill Road (Route 6) in Bethel, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm.
