The Connecticut Voter:

‘Homo Boobus’

To the Editor:

What happened to Connecticut? To paraphrase Peter Schiff on the outcome of the elections, a wave spread throughout our country with a Republican takeover, but went right around Connecticut. He also comments that it is the fault of the Connecticut Republican Party for not supporting tea party candidates for which the people could have rallied around. I agree. Did you know that Maine has a new GOP platform based on our Founding Fathers principles? It is time Connecticut Republicans wake up and adopt a similar platform.

In the meantime Connecticut is stuck with a team of Progressive Democrats. It is the insidious progressive movement in our country that is destroying it like a cancer. Progressives base their ideology on Jean Jacques Rousseau and others for what they call social justice, but their idea of social justice comes from a top down government (Big Government) that destroys property rights, the core principle of our freedoms. Progressives believe the state as God and the state as the sovereign not the individual. Progressives stifle inventiveness and incentive. Their plundering of America has been leading us toward the doldrums of communism. Children are being indoctrinated in our public school system towards this communistic end. Some progressives are very passionate but their passion is disconnected from realty. Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr, MD, calls it a political madness in his book The Liberal Mind. Other suggested reading, Rescuing a Broken America by Michael Coffman, PhD.

So what anti-Americans did we get? We got Chris Murphy again, who voted for the bailouts and Obamacare. Yeah, he’s going to be helpful.

Then there is Mr Progressive “do good” himself, Chris Lyddy, who will take our tax dollars to “do good, do good, do good” until the citizenry is broke and dependent. Chris Lyddy is a member of the Progressive States Network and was one of the state legislators that signed a letter to urge the Obama Administration and Congress to pass a federal comprehensive health care reform. Find letter and his signature at www.housedems.ct.gov/healthcare/Obama-letter.asp

Sure, why not put in the AG office George Jepsen who allegedly has no litigation experience and consequently is not eligible for that office? George Jepsen feels that our Tenth Amendment is outdated. Must be that the law of our land is an inconvenience for him. He will therefore, not protect us from Obamacare in the event that Washington does not repeal it or comes up with a new “main stream” Republican version.

Well, what do ya know, Progressive Dan Malloy magically finds lots of extra votes in Bridgeport and Hartford.

Last but not least, Dick Blumenthal, who was rated the worst attorney general in America for lawsuit abuse, growing the power of his office and cronyism, will now pretend to represent Connecticut in Washington.

So, congratulations, Homo Boobus of Connecticut. We can now watch our state continue to spiral downward into an even larger quagmire of debt and taxes. Connecticut will become, if not already, the great progressive armpit of America.
