Nighthawk Swimmers Sixth In SWC
Newtown High Schoolâs girlsâ swimming and diving team placed sixth in the South-West Conference Championships this past week. The diving competition was held on November 3 and the swimming events were held on November 6 â at Masuk High in Monroe.
Pomperaug won the meet with 488 points, and Newtown scored 259 to place sixth among 12 schools. Top finishes for Newtown swimmers include:
