In my haste to say thank you to all the various groups and individuals that made our Great Pumpkin Race a good success, I inadvertently left out some important helpers.

Blue Jay Orchards at no charge to the Lions gave us free cider and doughnuts. At the end of the event there were only about four doughnuts left, so they did a good job at estimating. Donating generous prizes for the winners of the pumpkin pie baking contest were DiGrazia Vineyards in Brookfield, Mona Lisa Restaurant, the Newtown Inn, and Chao Chi Restaurant. The victors in the pie contest really relished these prizes.

So thanks so much and to all others who made our Pumpkin Race a success.
