Lawrence D. Osmanski, 62, of Sandy Hook, died November 4, at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh, Penn., August 12, 1948, a son of Helen (Wiloch) and Stanley Osmanski.

He was a graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh and before retirement, was employed by Pitney Bowes Financial Services.

Mr Osmanski is survived by his wife, Barbara McAvoy of Sandy Hook; a son, John Osmanski of Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter, Katie Burger, and her husband Jordan, of White Plains, N.Y.; two stepchildren, Abigail and Brian Jones of Brookfield; one grandson, Jake; a brother, Gerald Osmanski, and his wife Elaine, of Beaver, Penn.; and a sister, Ginny Yarnell. and her husband Joe, of Hickory, N.C.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 10. Interment in St Rose Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.

Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, was in charge of arrangements.
