Joyce J. Doski Sokol, 64, of Maryland, formerly of Danbury, died November 6, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She was the widow of Adolf J. “Al” Sokol. She was born in Bridgeport, September 20, 1946, daughter of Marion (Banks) and Victor W. Doski, and was a Danbury resident most of her life.

Mrs Sokol is survived by two brothers, including Gary P. Doski of Sandy Hook; her daughter Stacy Costello and her husband, Keith; a sister, Donna L. Schlank; two grandchildren; and several other relatives. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Sallyann Guffey.

A graveside service at Hull Cemetery, Redding, took place November 11.
