Multiple Charges

Police ended up holding a Danbury woman for arraignment after she failed to make a $5,000 bond November 10. The arrest of Dawn Radka, 50, of Carlye Road occurred after police responded to a report of a car into a tree at the intersection of The Old Road and Currituck Road about 9:30 Tuesday evening. After a brief investigation, Ms Radka was charged with operating under the influence, making a restricted turn, operating under suspension, failure to surrender a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating with insufficient insurance. She was scheduled to be arraigned on the charges November 12.
