Turkey Trot

The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard and the Newtown Bridle Lands Association will hold their annual Turkey Trot Trail Ride to support the FAITH Food Pantry of Sandy Hook. The ride starts from the horse guard headquarters at Fairfield Hills at 11 am. There will be a fast-paced group and a slow-paced group and – depending on the turnout – perhaps a medium-paced group. To participate, just bring a bag of non-perishable food items or commonly-used household necessities (toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) to donate to the food pantry.
