TERMINATORS 7, TORPEDOES 2: Adam Shankman scored four goals and Nahba Brobieh added three as the Terminators blasted the Torpedoes. Joe Cristiano and Tim Dalton led the defense. For the Torpedoes, Drew Woods scored a pair of goals while Zach Bryan and Ryan Pearlam played well.

DOLPHINS 1, SPEED DEMONS 1: In an exciting finish to the fall soccer season, the Dolphins and the Speed Demons played to a 1-1 tie. Alison Pliszka scored for the Dolphins and with four seconds left in the game. Sarah Murtha tied the game with a goal for the Speed Demons. Jessica Cash, Julia Klucik, and Kelly OâConnor all had a great day for the Dolphins. The Speed Demonsâ Emily Erickson and Jen Hamer were outstanding players for their team.
ALL STARS 3, HURRICANES 0: The All-Stars battled the Hurricanes and came up with a 3-0 win. Jennifer VanVeen scored twice and Ali Korchman also scored for the All-Stars. Katie Cummings, Gabrielle Milano and Kristen Grabowski played well for the All-Stars. Caroline Lawrence, Alicia Carrafiello and Jessica Gorski turned in strong games for the Hurricanes.

VIPERS 6, BERKSHIRE UNITED 0: The Vipers swept past Berkshire United with a 6-0 win that had Justin Miller in goal and most of Newtownâs normal offensive power playing in the defensive third of the field. Scoring for the Vipers were Paul Andras, Anthony Florez, Nick Kallivrousis, Chris Meier, Miller and Kevin Troy. Newtownâs continuos ball possession frustrated Berkshire and sensing growing frustration, the Vipers âplayedâ with the ball even more. Drew Taylor managed the midfield throughout most of the match, while Chris Schreiber and Ethan Canfield played well on the outside wings. Sean Weir was rock solid both defensively and on offense along with Mat DeBrantes who also gave aggressive minutes to the Vipers offensively and defensively.
VIPERS 8, NEW MILFORD 0: The Vipers closed out the Northwest Division season with a win against New Milford. The Viper 8-0 victory clinched the first place position for Newtown for the fourth time in five seasons. Kevin Davies led the team with his first hat trick, scoring the first, third and fifth goals. Max Hoagland played one of his best games of the season with non-stop aggressiveness that resulted in him twice finding the nylon. Jason Smith, Justin Miller and Kevin Troy also each scored, as Newtownâs momentum was unstoppable. Goalie Danny Smith didnât even get a touch on the ball in the second half as Chris Meier, Mat DeBrantes and Chris Schreiber all shut down the New Milford attack. The Viperâs fall-division season ended with a 7-0-1 record. The Vipers out-scored their opponents 41-4 with 13 different players all notching at least one goal. The defensive core â anchored by goalie Danny Smith â recorded six division shutouts along with five State Cup Tournament shutouts.

STORM 1, NEW MILFORD 1: Max Barrett scored off a Tyler Bigham pass to lead the Storm in a 1-1 tie with New Milford. The goal put Newtown ahead, 1-0, but New Milford scored the equalizer late in the second half.
