To the Editor:

I want to express my thanks to the two families who so thoughtfully treated my buddy and I to a glass of wine and a dinner at My Place on the eve of Veterans Day. Being recognized this way put a lump in our throats and a tear in our eyes.

Thank you, folks, for honoring two old men who are proud to have served our country during the Korean War.
