The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs, will feature a presentation on “Selling Skills for Non-Sales People” on Wednesday, November 11.

Please note this is a change from the previously announced program for this month’s Working Women’s Forum schedule.

Sales Trainer Jon Barber will offer a program that could be described as “everything you have always wanted to know about selling but were afraid to ask.”

The program is designed to share the skills necessary to feel comfortable selling products, services and/or ideas inside and outside of one’s organization. Mr Barber speaker will discuss how to plan for and make effective consultative sales calls.

He will additionally share how to prepare for the face to face interaction, how to probe, support, close, involve the client using style-matching techniques, and follow up.

Working Women’s Forum meets at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.

Networking and light dinner begins at 6 pm, followed by the guest speaker. Events generally end by 8:30.

Program and dinner fee is $25 (10 for WWF members), along with a cash bar. The group gratefully accepts canned food, personal health and beauty items for FAITH Food Pantry.

To register, contact WWF President Pat Marlin at rsvp@workingwomensforum.net or 203-426-7022.
