Marie M. Baldino
Marie M. (DeSalle) Baldino, affectionately known as “Dolly,” 83, of Monroe, beloved wife of the late Rocco F. Baldino, died peacefully in her home November 7, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport April 25, 1931, she was a daughter of John and Ida Delvecchio DeSalle.
Survivors include two loving sons, Neil F. Baldino, and his wife Iris, of Sandy Hook and Mark J. Baldino of South Carolina; three loving grandchildren, Cole, Tess, and Mark John; a sister, Patricia Pagliarulo, and husband Patsy, of Trumbull; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. A sister, Louise Stankiewicz, and daughter-in-law, Mary Baldino, predeceased Mrs Baldino.
She had been a resident of Trumbull for 45 years before moving to Monroe. She was a retired employee of Warnaco, where she designed women’s apparel.
She had many hobbies and interests that included reading at the library, sewing, gardening, traveling, and cooking and baking for her family and friends. But above all, she was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her memory will continue to live on in their hearts.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 12, at 9 am, from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 am, in St Stephen Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call Tuesday, November 11, from 4 to 8 pm, at the funeral home.
