Mr And Mrs Timothy Scott Reda

Julia Ann Marie Smith, daughter of Gerald James and Janet (Hart) Smith, former residents of Sandy Hook, and Timothy Scott Reda, son of Anthony Thomas and Kathleen Lucille Reda of Perry Hall, Md., were married May 21 at St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore, Md.

The nuptial mass was officiated by Father Jean F. Hart, SOLT, uncle and godfather of the bride. The Rev Msgr Francis Malooly, chancellor of the Baltimore Archdiocese, and the Rev Father Paul Breczinski, associate pastor of St Anthony of Padua Church, concelebrated. Father Hart presented the couple with the Apostolic Blessing.

The maid of honor was Mary Catherine Smith, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Molly M. Wilkinson, Tracie Briggs, and Patti Stude.

The best man was Anthony Troy Reda, brother of the groom. Ushers were Emil Thomas Reda, grandfather of the groom, Michael Powell, cousin of the groom, and Wayne Discus.

The bride wore an off the shoulder ivory lace fitted gown. Her headpiece was a wreath of ivory roses, and she carried a bouquet of long stemmed Micah roses.

The bride’s engagement and wedding rings, from December 15, 1920, were those used by her maternal grandparents, Jean Francis Hart, Sr, and Jessie Bell (Rawhouser) Hart, former residents of New Britain.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Towson University. She received her RN license this month after completing her studies at CCBC-Essex Campus.

The groom is a 1992 graduate of Towson University and is a sale representative with Saturn of Bel Air.

After honeymooning in Historic Williamsburg, the couple resides in Nottingham, Md.
