To the Editor:

I would like to thank the Newtown voters for returning me to the Board of Finance. Also, special thank you to all the people who wrote such kind things about me in their Letters to the Editor and/or on social media. It is truly an honor to have your trust and support in managing your taxpayer dollars. I would also like to congratulate not only the successful candidates, but also those who ran and came up a few votes short. It takes courage and stamina to run for office and you made Newtown proud and better. Finally, thank you to all the political Parties for their courteous and respectful words and conduct.

Now the hard work starts. I look forward to working with all the members of the Board of Finance, as well as with all other elected officials and town administrative offices involved in the town’s fiscal work.
