The Aquarion Water Company’s need to make equipment improvements to its water supply system in the town center will result in some temporary water outages this week, according to the company.

Repairs will be made to a water main on Main Street on Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Repairs will be made to a water main on the western section of Church Hill Road on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

The planned water outages are scheduled to start at 9 pm on Tuesday, November 10, and conclude sometime between  3 and 5 am on Wednesday, November 11.   

Approximately 44 customers are expected to lose water service. Affected properties will include #1 through #15 Church Hill Road; #1 through #40 Main Street, and #1 through #11 West Street.

During and after the outages, some customers may experience discolored water. Customers may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking, and also delay clothes washing until water is clear.

Customers should run their cold water faucet until the water appears clear, prior to resuming use for these purposes.
