Lynne Marino Speaking At WWF Networking Event

The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs, will feature “The Gift that Keeps on Giving — Organizing Your Financial Life,” by Lynne Marino Wednesday, November 14, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road.

Networking and appetizers begin at 6 pm followed by the speaker.

When it comes to money, Ms Marino says she is passionate about educating women to take control of their finances. Her talk will help attendees organize their financial life, especially if they have experienced the loss of a loved one.

She says, “It’s important to know what you have, what needs to be documented, how to find your financial things, and when to discuss finances with a loved one.” All of this information will be covered at the meeting.

Actively involved in Fairfield County as a volunteer, Ms Marino is a budget coach for Women’s Business Development Center, Entrepreneurial Women’s Network, and the Executive Women’s Golf Association. She sings and dances with Treblemakers, who perform for area nursing homes, and FISH, who give rides to the elderly.

For reservations e-mail register at rsvp@workingwomensforum.net, or call WWF President Maureen Wilson at 203-470-9097. The program and appetizer fee will be $10 for members, and $20 for non-members with a cash bar.

The group will be accepting canned food and personal health and beauty items for FAITH Food Pantry.
