Jason Garbarino

A summer 2013 wedding is being planned for Kristy Haflett, daughter of Darlene and Dave Haflett of Munnsville, N.Y., and Jason Garbarino, whose parents are Carol and Bill Garbarino of Newtown.

Kristy is a 2004 graduate of Morrisville-Eaton Central High School and the University of Vermont. She is continuing her studies at the university, where she is in a program to become a nurse practitioner. She is also is employed as a medical ICU nurse at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.

Jason is a 2004 graduate of Newtown High School. He also attended the University of Vermont and Sacred Heart University. He is working toward his master’s in nursing education while also working as a clinical professor at the university and working at Fletcher Allen.

The couple lives in South Burlington, Vt.
