Adopt From The Animal Center
The following cats and dogs are among those available for adoption through The Animal Center:
INKY & BLING BLING were part of the same litter and have bonded in foster care. They curl up and sleep in the same basket, play with string and toys together, wrestle, and often rub up against each other in an affectionate way. They balance each other well. Inky (while still shy of new people at first) has an outgoing personality. He flops on the floor for rubbing. Bling Bling takes longer to warm up, but when she does feel comfortable she just loves the attention. Inky is great with children. Bling Bling is less interested in getting handled by them. The Animal Center would like to see these two cats get adopted if possible. They are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.
MONKEY is a playful, zany and friendly three month old kitten for adoption. He gets along well with everyone he meets. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
FRISKY is a sweet and playful 3 month old black and white kitten for adoption. Heâs neutered and up to date on vaccines.
SASSY is a sweet but slightly shy 3 month old kitten. She will blossom in any cat-friendly, patient home. She is up to date on vaccines and spayed.
ASPEN is a very friendly, 7 month old Jack Russell terrier /lab mix. Her tail is always wagging and she is a very happy dog. She is full grown at approximately 60 pounds, spayed, and current on vaccines.
JACK is a one year old Australian Cattle dog mix. He is very sweet, calm, and loves children and other dogs. He is approximately a year old and 40 pounds. He is very loyal, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.
CHA CHI is an approximately 12 week old Labrador Retriever mix. Cha Chi adores everyone she meets, even cats. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Â
LUCY was brought to a high kill shelter with a broken front leg and a bullet wound to the back leg. Because her broken leg had gone untreated, Lucyâs leg could not be rehabilitated and she had to have it amputated. She has made a full recovery and is incredibly mobile on three legs. Lucy holds no malice against humans as she is as sweet and loving with everyone she meets. Lucy is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
LENNIE is a very friendly Labrador Retriever mix for adoption. He is friendly, neutered and current on vaccines.
BAXTER was adopted but recently returned. He is a 1-2 year old yellow lab mix. He is very sweet with everyone and house trained. Baxter is microchipped, neutered, and current on vaccines.   Â
Good news: Penny, Emma, and Potsie have been adopted.
Barn Homes Needed: The Animal Center is seeking adopters who have warm and safe barn or shed for feral cats.
Barn cats are environmentally safe solutions to your mouse, mole, and barn vermin problems. Cats are neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. If you would like to adopt a barn cat or two, contact The Animal Center at info@TheAnimalCenter.org.Â
The Animal Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal welfare charity. Since its founding in 2004, The Animal Center has rescued and found homes for more than 1,800 dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies, many of which were special needs animals. Animal Center officials have accomplished this entirely through a grassroots foster network while working toward the dream of building a sanctuary where all creatures, large and small, are rescued, respected, and loved. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity and relies heavily on the support of the public and volunteers.
