Ann M. Gagner, 48, of Southbury, died in her sleep, November 6, at Yale New Haven Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. Ms Gagner was born in Mahopac, N.Y., January 26, 1963, a daughter of Ruth M. Westover of Southbury, and formerly a resident of Pootatuck Park, Sandy Hook, and the late Robert E. Westover Sr.

A graduate of Pomperaug High School, Ms Gagner worked in the warehouse at Pitney Bowes of Newtown until 2008. She most enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, and more recently a grandmother.

Ms Gagner is survived by her mother; her husband, Scott Gagner; three children, Jessica Ciskey, Jason Gagner, and Lauren Gagner; one grandson, her “bambino,” Nicholas; and two siblings.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 16, at 6:30 pm, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Friends may call from 5 pm until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Ms Gagner’s name be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, 323 Cedar Street, PO Box 208028, New Haven CT  06520 or ynhh.org/smilow-cancer-hospital.
