Is there a particular veteran you’d like to honor for Veterans’ Day?

Lori Buchetto: “My uncle, Frank Mallaterra. He’s 91 and served overseas in World War II.”

Joanne Sherwood: “My father, Godfrey Hlavaty, who served in the 79th Infantry on the frontlines in World War II.”

Kathy Fetchick: “My father-in-law, Joe Fetchick, is a veteran. I know he has talked to my son about it. He’s seen it on the TV, the Iraq war, and my father-in-law has pictures from when he was ‘over there.’”

Mark Cassady: “My dad was a World War II vet. His name is William Cassady.”

Catherine Priga: “My dad is a Vietnam-era veteran. His name is Peter Priga.”

Mark Swigart: “My father-in-law, Jim Wilson, was a navigator in World War II. He had a team of B-29 bombers he was in charge of.”
