Found Items Awaiting Return To Owners

Police are holding a variety of items at Newtown Police Department that people have found locally and turned over to them for safekeeping for return to their owners.

Police list six items they are seeking to return to their owners.

Among them are a gold earring with white stones found on October 31 behind Edmond Town Hall; a silver and gold woman’s watch found on October 31 on Main Street near Trinity Episcopal Church; a black radio frequency scanner found on October 17 on Taunton Hill Road; antique photographs found on October 13 at the intersection of Main Street and Currituck Road; a bicycle found on October 10 behind the Big Y supermarket on Queen Street; and a silver necklace with attached religious medallion found on September 14 at Treadwell Park on Philo Curtis Road.

To claim the found items, the owners should call the police station at 3 Main Street, 426-5841.
