Equine Affaire Versatile
Horse & Rider Competition
Come be part of the excitement on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in the Equine.com Arena located in the Coliseum! This thrilling new competition will be a timed and judged pursuit through an obstacle course which will be created to test the communication between horse and rider as well as each competitorâs horsemanship skills.
The competition will be open to adult riders of all disciplines and horses of all breeds. As the horse and rider teams work through each obstacle they will be judged on several criteria as well as overall performance. David OâConnor will serve as the special guest commentator for this yearâs competition, and participants will compete for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
Training Clinics
Leading coaches, competitors, and trainers from throughout the United States will present a full schedule of in-depth clinics on a wide array of equestrian sports and training techniques at the 2007 event. Clinics will be conducted in the Equine.com Arena located in the Coliseum, Cimarron Trailers Arena in the Mallary Complex, and Nutrena Arena in the Young Building.
Seminars & Demos
Attendees will enjoy four full days of seminars and hands-on demonstrations at the Wahl Clipper Seminar Stage located in the Better Living Center and GLC 5500 Demo Ring located in the Mallary. Industry experts will present non-stop sessions on a wide variety of horse managements, health, and training topics relevant to horse enthusiasts from amateurs to seasoned professionals.
Trade Show
Equine Affaire will be host to the largest trade show of any horse expo in the East. It will feature hundreds of the nationâs leading equine-related retailers and manufacturers. Attendees will be able to browse through acres of equine products and services ranging from tack, riding apparel, and grooming supplies to farm equipment, gifts, and books. As always, Equine Affaire is the best place to shop for all of your horse-related needs.
Breed Pavilion
The Breed Pavilion in the Stroh Building will feature exhibit booths and stalls where attendees will be able to see and learn more about a wide variety of breeds. Individual breeds will be represented by their associations as well as a rotating cast of selected stallions, mares, and geldings. The Horse & Farm exhibits area in C-Barn will feature a vast number of stallions, horse breeding farms, and training facilities.

Arabian Youth Pavilion
Kids and adults are invited to explore a special place for horsey kids of all ages at the Arabian Horse Association Youth Pavilion In addition to educational and horse-related youth association exhibits, the Arabian Horse Association Youth Pavilion features presentations throughout each day by many of the horse industryâs most popular educators, demonstrations of various horse breeds, plenty of fun activities for kids, and a Stone Horses® Celebrity Horse Showcase.
The Saddle Club TV show, based on the novels by Bonnie Bryant, will be filming several segments not only in the Youth Pavilion but throughout Equine Affaire! Many lucky boys and girls will have the opportunity to be interviewed and could be appearing on the show. Bonnie Bryant will also be in the Youth Pavilion on Saturday and Sunday to autograph books and speak with fans.
Pfizer Fantasia
The Pfizer Fantasia - A Musical Celebration of the Horse - will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in the Equine.com Arena located in the Coliseum. It will be a truly dazzling celebration of the horse and something not to be missed. Traditionally performed for sold-out audiences, be sure to get your tickets early this year.
ARIA Test Center
Equine Affaire is an American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) test center. Testing will be held on Saturday, November 10, and for more information about the ARIA or to register for future tests, contact Charlotte Kneeland at (239) 948-3232.

Blacksmiths Regional
World Championship Blacksmiths, LCC northeast qualifier will be held at Equine Affaire on Friday and Saturday. This new edition to Equine Affaire promises to be both educational and exciting to watch! Be sure to stop by and watch the action as one- and two-person teams compete for a slot at nationals.
