Correction

A story that appeared in the November 2 edition of The Bee entitled “GOP Council Chair Backing Democrat For First Selectman” incorrectly stated that Chuck Stofko had posed the question at the October 29 Pizza & Politics Forum that elicited a response from Republican Legislative Council chairman Will Rodgers that supported the reelection of Democrats Herb Rosenthal and Joe Bojnowski.

While Mr Stofko contacted a Bee editor shortly after the event urging quick dissemination of the information on The Bee’s website, he said last week that he did not pose the question for the council chair. It is unknown who formulated the question, which was asked by a moderator at the Pizza & Politics event.
