Robin Jean Retalis, 44, of Wingdale, N.Y., wife of Peter Retalis, died November 6 in Roxbury at the home of her husbandâs parents, William and Patricia Berth.
She was the daughter of Paul and Beverly (Purinton) Boucher of Newtown and a sister of Cheryl Boucher of Newtown.
Robin was lovingly cared for by her family and the Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut.
She was born in Danbury on March 20, 1956. Mrs Retalis was raised in Newtown, where she attended Newtown schools. She later moved to Danbury with her husband and attended Western Connecticut State University and began her family. She and her family then relocated to Brewster, N.Y.
Mrs Retalis worked for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals as an administrative assistant in the Research and Development Division, very happily, for the last several years.
Mrs Retalis was a loving and devoted wife and mother who was totally involved in her childrenâs activities: soccer, scouts, school activities, and all facets of her husbandâs and childrenâs lives.
Besides her husband, Peter, of 22 years, her parents and her husbandâs parents, she is also survived by her son, Nicholas Paul Retalis of Wingdale, N.Y.; her daughter, Katherine Jean Retalis of Wingdale, N.Y.; her brother, Kurt Boucher of New Mexico; another sister, Karen Dwinells of Japan; two nephews, Tyler Dwinells and Zachary Retalis; and a niece, Amanda Dwinells.

Calling hours are Friday, November 10, from 5 to 9 pm at the Tomlinson Homestead, 336 Main Street, Danbury.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 11, at 9 am at St Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
