Victorian Paper Ornaments

DERBY — The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection’s Kellogg Environmental Center will offer a “Victorian Paper Ornaments” workshop on Saturday, November 20 from 10 am to noon.

Participants will learn how to make a variety of paper ornaments and other traditional decorations in the Victorian style.

A $5 donation per family is requested to cover the cost of supplies. Young children may need adult help. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

To register, call 734-2513 Tuesday through Saturday between 9 am and 4:30 pm. The Center, operated by the DEP Office of Communications and Education, is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (Route 34) in Derby.
