The Class LL state diving championships took place in Middletown on November 7, and Newtown High School had strong representation. The diving scores will count toward the swim and dive team totals when the swimming competition is held at Southern Connecticut State University, on November 14.

Madeline Muldoon, of Greenwich, came in first with a score of 476.85. Newtown's Kiera Sughrue was seventh with a score of 377.00. Teammate Hannah Weatherby tied for 15th with a score of 307.60. Kylie Giroux placed 26th with a score of 169.15.
